The revolutionary freedom front decides to set up a brothel in the South American jungle to keep its fighters happy. But since noone would work there voluntarily, several girls are abducted, brought there & treated like inmates of a woman's prison, with them kept in cells, armed guards & a sadistic warden (Nanda Van Bergen) - but since this is a Franco-film, at least they are kept in their cells scantily clad to naked, the armed guards are topless girls & the warden's a lesbian.

But then the revolutionary leader Gino da Guerra (Val Davis) falls in love with one of the girls, Angela (Ada Tauler) - who was actually kidnapped at her wedding night -, who refuses him at first but soon falls in love with him too. & Gino arranges it for her to not be treated as an ordinary prostitute at the prison/brothel but stay with the warden while the soldiers have their fun with the other inmates ... Trouble is, our lesbian warden has also fallen for Angela & has sex with her herself. When Gino hears about this, he has the warden kneel down in front of Angela & beg for forgiveness - which only infuriates the warden of course, & she soon unmasks Angela as a contrarevolutionary spy, & subjects her to some torture. But then Alberto, Angela's husband, manages to sneak into the woman's prison too, & he has made up a plan for her escape, that involves Angela & 2 of her fellow convicts having sex with the warden (really). The plan does work out, but when the 3 girls (with Angela topless for some reason) arrive at their meeting point with Alberto, he is already captured by Gino. Gino though shows some heart as he decides to set Alberto free & let Angela go with him (he sends the other 2 girls back to the prison of course), but then, in a surprise twist, Angela decides to instead stay with Gino ... The End.

On a narrative level, this movie makes even less sense than most of the others Jess Franco did for Erwin C.Dietrich, all too obviously everything that happens just does so to show some sex & sadism - which Franco does with a genuine obsession. This all of course makes Frauen im Liebeslager mindless but good-natured fun.
