While Marty (Matthew Cottle) is shagging his new girlfriend Clare (Tracy
Keating) 'till it hurts (really) & tells everybody how wonderful it is -
also 'till it hurts -, his flatmate Mandy (Samantha Janus) decides to get
professional help for their abusive, agoraphobic flatmate/landlord Matt (Neil
Stuke), who starts to act increasingly weird. She decides her old friend Jason
(Mark Powley), a gay psychiatrist, would be the right man to do it. Thing is
Matt mustn't know that Jason's a psychiatrist ... let alone that he's gay - as
he for one thinks he's completely sane ... & he's terribly homophobic.
Things work out pretty well at first ... since Matt thinks Jason is a
perfectly decent bloke, Mandy's cousin visiting from Australia who's a tad shy
so he has to teach him about picking up girls - but then Jason falls in love
with Matt, & the whole experiment of curing Matt gets a little out of hand
- it's rather that Jason - involuntarily - digs up Matt's repressed
homosexuality - as the 2 soon kiss & in the end, Mandy & Marty find
them in bed together - if you know what happened is at anybody's guess though.
Mandy meanwhile, who after having shagged too many people has taken a vow of
chastity, pciks up her Italian teacher Marco (Oliver Haden), & almost shags
him too, before she, literally in the last minute, tells him off - which he, a
typical Italian, mistakes for her admitting that she's a virgin (as if), &
is from now on totally enchanted by her ...
As usual for Game on, this episode deals with totally serious maters - like
repressed homosexualtity & the macho male - but refuses to take them too
seriously, instead creating a very funny story.
