A girl is found dead near the Frightland Hayride, slaughtered by a mad killer, actually. For some reason, the owner of the place, Combs (Aven Warren), doesn't trust the police but hires psychic investigator Desirée, who joins the Frightland crew undercover as the assistant to a stage magician, Cliff (Jim O'Rear), who is actually her assistant. Soon, Desirée senses some demonic presence, but that doesn't mean she can stop more murders from happening, let alone convince the police headed by her ex-boyfriend Joe (Dean Paul), about what's really going on. Somehow though, Desirée and Joe at least make up and have sex, right before Cliff calls them back to Frightland, where they find Combs murdered - and eventually, Desirée has to come to the conclusion that it was actually Joe who has committed all these murders - which is when she runs right into Cliff. This is a bad thing because he is the actual killer, who doesn't only want to have his revenge on her, because she never respected him properly, but also wants to call a demon to earth to grant him eternal life - which can only be done by sacrificing Desirée. Desirée is soon stripped, strapped to a sacrificial table and gagged, but Joe enters virtually at the last second, gets her gag off and engages Cliff in a fight, so she can utter a few magic spells that have Cliff's accomplice (Debbie D) take her place in the sacrifice, then she sends the called upon demon, Cliff and his accomplice all to hell, and heads off into a brighter future with Joe ...

Cheaply made but pretty entertaining supernatural thriller that might be a little on the silly side, plotwise - but then again, it doesn't take itself too seriously, which is especially mirrored in Tina Krause's performance which is often (intentionally) hilarious without ever being plain stupid. Only the extended magic stage performance by Jim O'Rear could have done with a little bit of trimming, even though he's good at what he does.
