Leia (Leia Gadow) and her boyfriend Brandon (Brandon Gadow) have their
umpteenth row, a row that prompts her to drug his beer. Unfortunately she
overdoes the drugging a bit and kills Brandon. Later at a bar, Leia is
hit on by quite a few guys, all of whom have certain qualities, and that
gives her an idea - why not collect all these men for their best traits,
kill them and build the perfect man based on Brandon's body out of them.
So Leia kills the barman for his strong heart, a professor for his brains,
and a half-witted womanizer for his big dick (on which Leia then has a
test ride). However, stitching your perfect man together from body parts
is one thing, bringing him to life is quite another, and after neither the
good old hair dryer in the bathtub nor the car battery give her home made
monster the expected jolt of life, Leia, like every good mad scientist,
harnasses the power of lightning - and it works beautifully ... As
you have probably guessed from my synopsis, this is a sexually revised
reimagining of the Frankenstein-myth
- and it's also great fun: Especially Leia Gadow camps up her role to the
hilt, enjoyably hamming it up while wearing totally inappopriate (yet very
sexy and provocative) lingerie, and she is supported by a script that
doesn't take itself seriously at all - without going for the obviously
moronic. Oh, and did I tell you this film was a musical? Well, it is, with
the characters (mostly Leia) breaking into song-and-dance routines in the
most unfitting moments - and the music's pretty good, actually. To put
it simply, a hilarious movie!
