Rocket scientist Shibusawa is expecting his assistant Junko, who went
to Switzerland to fetch the formula for a new rocket fuel - a rocketfuel
the Titanians are obviously after (rather surprisingly actually, since
them being aliens and having come from another planet, one would suppose
they already have some rocketfuel). So National Security agents Gentaro (Shoji Ishibashi),
klutzy Goro (Mitsuo Hamada) - who is actually the giant robot Iron King
unbeknowest to Gentaro -, and Noriko
(Chiaki Sakyo) are sent to protect Junko. However, a Titanian bodynaps
Noriko (they can do that), after which Titanian Noriko spreads suspicion
that Junko is bodynapped by a Titanian. Gentaro immediately believes
Noriko, but Goro, who has a soft spot for young Junko, doubts it, so
Noriko even grows into a giant insectoid and pretends to be Junko (don't
try to understand that). Of course, Gentaro and Iron King soon chase the
insectoid away, but the Titanian leaves a trail that leads to Junko (even
if he soon bodynaps Noriko again). Still though Goro isn't convinced,
quite the opposite, he even tries to date Junko.
In the finale, of courseNoriko is revealed to be the Titanian, but
Goro/Iron King and Gentaro manage to chase the Titanian out of her and
destroy him once he is in his insectoid mode. And of course, in the end,
the professor safely receives the rocket fuel formula.
Not one of the better episodes of the series: Every plottwist is
announced way too long in advance, the insectoid creature is rather dull,
and the episode seriously lacks large scale destruction.
