Jungle doctor Ramar (Jon Hall), his assistant professor Ogden (Ray Montgomery)
& their black servant Willie (Nick Stewart) are asked by Teetha (Juanita
Moore) to come with her to the Kangas, Willie's native tribe, where her father,
the chief, is dieing from blood poisoning, but access to him is refused by evil
medicine man Junga, who would like to let him die to gain control over the
Kangas, and to get Teetha's hand in marriage - to this end he has even
imprisoned her fiancé Kalli.
Ramar & company decide that their best chance would be to break free
Kalli in order to create big enough a commotion to gain access to the chief ...
& up to a point that works, but in the end it seems that Junga has won the
upper hand after all & Ramar, Ogden & Kalli end all tied up & about
to be burned ... when the effect of Ramar's medication finally has set in &
the chief appears the very last moment to tell his people to free the threesome
& instead imprison Junga ...
One of the more interesting episodes of Ramar as the plot includes some not
too overused plottwists. But of course, it's still a studiobound series with
wildlife-material thrown in rather at random.
