Joaquim (Joaquín Cordero) is a drifter, who has robbed a bank back home and has now made an escape to Cuba with $100,000. When he tells that to a gang of smugglers, they are very eager to welcome him into their ranks, figuring they'll just use him until they get their hands on his loot.

The smugglers are under a masked man's observation, Santo (Santo), who every now and again turns up and beats them up, too. But he doesn't beat up Joaquim, because you know, both of them are policemen and work on the case together.

When Joaquim finds himself cornered by the smugglers as they want to get their hands on his loot (which doesn't even exist), he tries to use his girlfriend Myrna (Gina Romand) as a sort of carrier pigeon for a message to the police, but she is intercepted and now his cover is blown - and it all ends in a big showdown on an amusement park, and also thanks to Santo, Joaquim emerges the victor.

A rather ill-structured little crime thriller that takes forever to build up its very thin plot and thus feels over-long at its mere 75 minutes. And in fact, apart from the finale, which is actually pretty well executed, the movie has little to offer in the action department other than the occasional attacks by Santo, which make little narrative sense - as his character as a whole does not really serve any purpose in moving the story along, his appearances are just jarring, and his character is never fully explained.

In all, not really worth your while.
