It hasn't been long since a boy (Joshua Kaufman) has lost his mother,
and his father (Nick Gregory) is just totally out of his league bringing
up the boy on his own, even reverting to slapping him - and even though
dad at least asks his son to hit back, that doesn't make it alright in the
least. This ultimately leads to the boy making friends with an ogre (Lukas
Hassel) he has met in the woods - who of course might be only a figment of
his imagination, but maybe there's more to it ... Now this
short is something you sure enough don't see every day: A horror story
about well-meant parenting gone horribly wrong, with some monstruous
consequences. But the whole thing isn't told in an in-your-face way or
trying to hit the message home with a sledgehammer, but told with an
emphasis on atmosphere and a very artistic flavour. Definitely one not
to be missed!
