These days, Professor Monster (Mitsuo Ando) of the evil Iron Cross Army
likes to drive around town to choosehumans to turn into his organic robots
called Machine Bem. This time around, he has set his eyes on violent biker
Masao, and he stops at nothing to get him, even if that means running him
over by car. Our hero Takuya (Shinji Toudou) has had a violent run-in
with Masao, but had since made the acquaintance of Masao's father Amano,
whom he has taken an immediate liking to because he reminded him of his
own deceased father. And because he is secretly Spider-Man, sworn enemy of
the Iron Cross Army, he helps Amano find his son. However, Amano manages
to get a lead on Masao ahead of Spider-Man - and is shot because of it.
When Spider-Man finally finds Masao, he has already been turned into a
Machine Bem, the chameleon like biker-monster, and before you know it, the
monster grows to giant size, forcing Spider-Man to call his robot
Marveller/Leopardon, which takes care of the monster that once was Masao. In
all, a rather cheesy episode that has too much cheap drama about dead
parents and estranged fathers and sons worked into the plot - but at least
the biker-monster (they really call it that) looks fun.
