The Iron Cross Army has trained a dog to track down Spider-Man (Shinji
Todou) by exposing him to the scent of spiders present in the cave where
and when Spidey was turned into Spidey. Spider-Man sees through the Iron
Corss Army's evil plans pretty quickly though and lures the dog into a
trap ... but then the dog is saved from the trap by an innocent little boy
who loves dogs, which nearly costs Spidey his life - but seeing the boy
loving dogs, Spidey can't help being touched, and he helps the boy nurse
the dog, who has broken down from exhaustion immediately after having been
saved, back to health. As a thank you, the dog leads Spidey to an
amusement park the Iron Cross Army plans to blow up, even if this knocks
him out once more. Spidey saves the day of course. This episode is one
of the few that doesn't include a machine bem (the Iron Cross Army's robot
monsters) or Spidey's giant robot - not that the story would have
suggested it, but that didn't keep the writers from including them in past
episodes ... Another terribly cheesy episode, but this one is
at least so cheesy it's funny ... and it features some pretty decent
wall-crawling action as well.
