In his human identity as Takuya the careless motorbike enthusiast,
Spider-Man (Shinji Todou) pursues a car carrying agents of the Iron Cross
Army, but is stopped and arrested by policewoman Akane. While in jail,
Takuya witnesses a fellow inmate being broken free by the Iron Cross Army
using exactly the car he had been following. Takuya manages to escape as
well, and as Spider-Man he complains about Akane, who immediately suspends
her. But then Spidey learns that Akane has become a policewoman to avenge
her brother, who has been killed by the Army, and he is immediately
reminded of himself (who has become Spider-Man to avenge his father). As
you might expect, after a bit of to and fro Spidey manages to defeat the
Iron Cross Army with the help of Akane. Mediocre episode. The
police woman might be a nice touch, but the whole thing is just too
predictable to really work.
