Professor Ashida wants to sell an all-powerful bacteriological weapon
to the evil Iron Cross Army, they just can't agree on a price. Megumi, his
orphaned niece learns about that, and informs Tanpei, president of the
Youth Detective Club - and presently also its only member, since all his
friends have abandoned him. Tanpei helps Megumi steal the pill containing
the bacteriological weapon, and they hide it someplace. In the meantime,
the Iron Cross Army returns to professor Ashida to renegotiate, on their
own terms, meaning they torture the pill out of him - only he hasn't got
the pill anymore. The Iron Cross Army is quick to track the pill down to
Tanpei and Megumi, but by that time they have already informed the former
members of the Youth Detective Club, who realize the seriousness of the
situation when Tanpei and Megumi are kidnapped and keep the pill out of
the Army's reach. And ultimately, Spider-Man (Shinji Todou) shows up to
save the day. Spider-Man and a bunch of kids - not this can't
be good. And sure enough, it isn't. Well, at least this episode features
another hilarious guest monster, Toothache Alligator, a rubber crocodile
with a cannon attached to its nose, but that's about as good as it gets.
