As a kid, she (Alexia Zahedi) was a fraid of the monster under her bed
(Lamine Cissé), like most children, really. But now, all grown up, she
knows better - if there wasn't the gnawing feeling and the nightmares that
still make her look under the bed every night. But against good monsters,
all precautions amount to little ... Story-wise this short
might be skeletal to the core, but it's a really lovely (as in, creepy)
horror miniature that manages to make the lead character's rather
irrational fear palpable thanks to a nice directorial effort, editing and
camerawork (besides a solid performance of course), relying more on
suggestive horror than actual effects, and leaving the horror fan with a
welcome feeling of unease.
