Your upcoming anthology Terror Tales - give us a quick idea what it's about?

Terror Tales is an horror anthology based on a YouTube horror called Halloween Creep Tales - see here: https://www.youtube.com/
watch?v=Jx89xMttDrY
. It will be introduced by the very dark character of The Crimson Creeper! I guess you could say the old Tales From the Crypt series and films influenced the macabre side in me.

To ask quite bluntly, why another horror anthology, and what are the ideas behind it?

The horror anthology is a long-gone part of the modern horror film. I wonder if some people and modern cinema goers still remember what one is? They are great. A lot of old school fun like Creepshow (1982) and George Romero/Stephen King brought the fun out again in horror.

What can you tell us about the creation of the Crimson Creeper in the first place?

He's an entity, a misfit, a misunderstood soul - a bit like me!

Since Terror Tales is a horror anthology, I'm guessing horror's a genre rather dear to you - at all true, and care to elaborate?

I fell into horror... was frightened of horror as a child. I just seem to come back to it through my DVD collection and people I meet online and can relate to them.

What can you tell us about the separate segments that make up Terror Tales, and were they made especially for the anthology, or how did you find them?

I put a notice out on Facebook that I was doing Terror Tales and the response was AMAZING!! I can't give too much away, sadly. I have faith they'll make the feature work.

What can you tell us about your collaboration with the respective producers/directors of these segments, and how did you first get in touch with them?

Through Facebook. I am surrounded by creative/horror fiends and friends.

Speaking about collaboration, you produce this anthology together with Australian filmmaker Bayden Ray Redshaw [Bayden Ray Redshaw interview - click here] - so how did the two you first meet even?

The wraparound team: John Von Shelton, Steve Chamberlain

Bayden Redshaw and myself met through a mutal friend, again on Facebook! We just ended up liking one another's work on YouTube. Bayden is a great guy!

What can you tell us about the rest of your cast and crew, and why exactly these people?

A long story. I had people pull out, so this is going to be a family affair when it comes to filming the wraparound segment for Terror Tales. Some of these filmmakers have work out there and I'd just love to work with them, even through the internet. Amazing!

From what I know, Terror Tales (at least the framing story) has not been shot yet - so what's the schedule?

We (my brother Steven Chamberlain and I) will be shooting throughout the Halloween month of October, 2015. I can't wait!

Any idea when and where Terror Tales might be released onto the general public yet?

The aim is to get it onto DVD for Halloween, 2016/DVD distribution. That's my aim! My goal!

Any future projects beyond Terror Tales?

A sequel maybe? We'll see how Terror Tales 1 does first and if there is a demand to go bigger and better.
