Georgy (Kirill Käro) and his superbot Arisa (Paulina Andreeva) have
been taken hostage by the Liquidators led by Bars (Aleksandr Kuznetsov), a
gang Georgy's own son Egor (Eldar Kalimulin) is a member of. But Georgy is
also badly needed by the Liquidators as Bars' sister - and Egor's
girlfriend - Jeanne (Vera Panfilova) was badly wounded in the shoot-out last
episode and couldn't make it without medical attention. So Georgy
makes a deal with Bars: He will save Jeanne's life if Bars returns Egor to
his mother (Olga Lomonosova) - Bars agrees. But while he and his gang are
out hunting for medical supplies, Jeanne's heart stops, and it's only
thanks to Arisa that she's revived - something that deeply touches Lara
(Mariya Lugovaya), the IT expert the Liquidators brought in to hack into
Arisa's system. So eventually she makes a plan to steal Arisa from under
the Liquidators' noses - but she also has to take Georgy, as Arisa won't
leave without him since he's part of the family ... Meanwhile, Victor
(Aleksandr Ustyugov), CEO of the Cronos Corporation, prepares for his coup
de grace: He plans to simulate an attack of his wife (Irina Tarannik) on
him that will sure land her in an asylum, then he'll leave the country to
somewhere with no extradition agreement with Russia while the Cronos
Corporation will go belly up since it will be unable to mass-produce Arisa
since there are no blueprints, and this will ruin his hated father-in-law
(Sergey Sosnovskiy) ... Again, an episode that works as a tight
self-contained thriller while also pushing the overall narrative forward
and into unexpected territory that's sure to make the audience want more.
One can only hope the writing will remain on that high a level!
