Again, Georgy (Kirill Käro) lets Victor (Aleksandr Ustyugov) pressure
him into being the minder of superbot Arisa (Paulina Andreeva) for Cronos,
at least till the gouvernment bid is over. Georgy just has one condition,
that his friend, super hacker Lara (Mariya Lugovaya), is released - which
she is ... but ultimately she decides to stick around as she wants to find
out more about Arisa - which more and more annoys Arisa as she sees
herself as the "woman" in the family unit and even tries to
learn about romance (also by watching porn), while Georgy and Lara are
actually drawn to one another. Georgy's son Egor (Eldar Kalimulin) wants
to spring his girlfriend Jeanne (Vera Panfilova) from hospital, as he
knows she'll be sent to the orphanage otherwise, but that's something she
wants to avoid at all cost. Surprisingly enough, Egor's grandfather
(Victor Solovyev) offers his assistance. Victor's father-in-law (Sergey
Sonnovskiy), the actual head of Cronos, has found out about Victor's plans
to destroy the company, and also what he has done to his wife, but before
he can take any action, Victor kills him, then calls his muscle Gleb
(Fyodor Lavrov) to make it look like an accident. And Victor also tells
Igor (Pavel Vorozhtsov) he knows he had an affair with his wife - and
forces him into obedience ... One of the episodes that merely
stretches things rather tell a story of its own, that acts as a build-up
for the finale, but (apart from Victor killing his father-in-law) has
little new to offer. And frankly, that's what makes this episode a bit
boring, because mostly it repeats the same stories or story patterns yet
again without getting anywhere. Sure, the episode makes hungry for more,
and it's a good thing that the series finale is close at hand, but in
itself, it's rather disappointing.
