Deacon (Willy Adkins) and Sadie (Lillian Lamour) have been together for
quite a while and are still in love with one another - but of late, they
have problems in the bedroom. So they decide to try something new ... and
a week later, Deacon has a black eye and wears a neck brace. And when
asked about it by his best friend Evan (Brad Jones), he admits it's a sex
injury after they've tried everything from blindfolds to clown sex to
furries to electro shocks - with terrible results. Evan sees his chance
and suggests to inject himself into their sex life - but sometimes you
ought to be careful what you wish for ...
Now even if this film's topic sounds racy and the plot is
definitely sex-centric, its imagery is very much on the tame side, with no
actual nudity involved - which really works for this short, which is above
everything else a comedy. Sure, the jokes are mostly on the raunchy side
but are funny for their own sake, and the cast's spirited performances
bring them across as funny as possible while the directorial effort only
heightens the effect, to make this a very likeable comedy indeed.
