At first it seems like a chance meeting when Thomas (Sean Gunnell) sits
down on a park bench next to bible-reading Father Harris (Michael Ray),
and the two of them soon start talking about Jesus, about religion, and
about sin and forgiveness. Things take a darker turn though when Father
Harris comes to the realization that this isn't a chance meeting at all,
and that Thomas knows something about him that he'd like to leave buried
in the past. Thing is, Thomas not only knows, he's also here for some
earthly justice ... A cleverly written psycho-drama that gets
the most out of its premise and builds up tension and suspense rather
perfectly, also by only giving away key plotpoints only when urgently
needed, to keep the audience guessing. And of course, a very competent
cast and a directorial effort that gets the most out of the very limiting
set help to make this one a really tight film.
