Jim (Danny Morgan) is who one would probably call the "nice
guy" - he's not pushy, he respects the feelings of people other than
himself, and he treats women as human beings ... which at leat in the eyes
of his friend, womanizer Alex (Michael Socha) is the perfect reason while
he's still a virgin, even though he's turning 30 in a couple of days. And
while Alex might be a single-minded misogynist to most, he at least really
cares about his best friend getting laid while he's still in his 20s ...
and enter sisters Kitty (Kelly Wenham) and Lulu (Georgia Groome), who seem
to be a perfect match - Kitty's the utter party girl while Lulu's shyness
seems to match Jim's. And Lulu likes Jim as well - so what could go wrong?
Well, apart from the fact that the sisters are part of a cult sacrificing
their sexual partners, not much, really ... Now here's a film
that's just ... fun actually. Basically, the story of this one has been
told before, and (without any proof) better so probably - and that said,
one will probably have a hard time not to admit one has been utterly
entertained by this one: Basically, the direction really finds its balance
between comedy, drama and horror, the actors play it straight while
obviously being in on the joke, and the whole thing just has a really nice
flow to it. Sure, it might not be the reinvention of the wheel or
something even remotely like it ... but it's fun!!!
