An erotic photoshoot in the country. The car of the team breaking down
on the way home. The team seeking refuge in a seemingly abandoned house
... and both the producer (Osamu Tsuruoka) and the photographer (Daiki
Kato) think they've hit the jackpot, as this gives them a night with their
handpicked favourite models, Kei (Megumi Kawashima) and Rei (Saeko Kizuki)
respectively. And with the right amount of alcohol and empty promises, it
shouldn't be hard to get into their panties, right? Sure, there's even a
fifth and even a sixth wheel in their company, namely the production
runner (Hideki Takahashi) and Kazuyo (Naomi Hagio), the model they want to
ditch ... so they fill both of them up with alcohol and let them perform a
half-naked wrestling demonstration just to humiliate them - a
demonstration that leaves Kazuyo unconscious, and the runner so brought up
that he insults his bosses (and rightly so) and then runs off - and right
into the knife of a killer ... but not that anyone else would take notice
... But yeah, there is a killer on the grounds, apparently a big dicked
demon (Kazuhiko Goda) who likes to slaughter men and rape women to see if
they can take his penis - if not, he slaughters them as well. The producer
and Kei soon have to die, Kazuyo goes mad when she finds their corpses and
carries Kei's severed head around to scare the shit out of the others
before her own rape and execution (with the demon ripping her entrails out
of her still alive and conscious body through her pussy), then killing the
photographer before seeing whether Rei can take his penis ... and she can.
And she returns to the scene of the crime months later expecting his baby
... Entrails of a Virgin succeeds in delivering some
strong, disturbing, sexually sick images. And it's shock scenes are
well-structured, too, with the right amount of tension and suspense to
make these images stick, too. However, the film fails at telling a decent
story, basically after a bit of set-up that relies a bit too heavily on
(admittedly gorgeous) naked bodies rather than narrative, the film as a
whole doesn't build up to anywhere anymore, it's just one rape and murder
after yet another, and the characters aren't given enough depth to
actually care for them, either. Which is absolutely not to say the movie
is not something that won't stick with you for a while, there are some
powerful images here to make sure of that ... but it could really have
done with a better structured and a bit more subtle script!
