Lord Hideyori has long been at war with Lord Tokugawa, whose daughter
Lady Sen he has married, but now he has been seriously injured in fight
without leaving a heir - so Lady Sen has made up the plan to let her four
ninja maidens have sex with him so they can conceive his heirs ... and
they get lucky on two accounts, and by ways of ninja magic, they can even
pass the unborn fetus from one woman to the next. Lord Tokugawa has of
course learned that Lord Hideyori, who has died shortly after conception,
has fathered two unborn children, and thus he has his head ninja Hattori
send ninjas of his own to Lady sen's place - but it's ninja magic vs ninja
magic, and the four attacks are fended off, even though three of the ninja
girls lose their lives as well as one fetus. In the end, the fetus is
transferred to Lady Sen while the last ninja girl guards her with
everything she has got - and successfully so, as Lady Sen is actually able
to give birth to a healthy child. Enter Hattori, who kills the last ninja
girl using some ninja shadow magic, then he wants to execute the newborn
child - but he just can't. We are then told that Lord Tokugawa himself
died just when Hattori spared the kid's life. The actual plot
of this low budget period piece is actually of minor importance, and the
martial arts are just about adequate - but that doesn't matter one bit, as
the emphasis of this film is on thinking up totally out-of-this-world
ninja techniques that usually involve quite a bit of nudity or at least
sexual allusions ... and on that account, the film is just perfect. Now of
course it's true, Female Ninjas: Magic Chronicles is not an
intellectual masterpiece, and certainly no classic in any way, but an
almost perfect party movie. It's very adviceable to watch this one beer in
hand.
