Two incompetent journalists rather accidently are the only two men who
witness a flying saucer landing in Istanbul - and entering it, they find
it full of women ... oh, and robots. The women all want men to take back
to their planet, and our two journalists are of course their first
applicants. The journalists though learn that the space women have some
elixir of eternal youth in their possession and promise to bring them more
men than they can carry in exchange for the elixir. They figure they'll
get enough men at the grand hotel, where Marilyn Monroe will perform that
night ... then though, despite the fact that they have been explicitely
warned they will be observed in the grand hotel, they try to doublecross
the spacegirls and just sell the elixir. They are brought back, and
against better knowledge, the spacegirls give them a second chance, making
it extra extra clear that our heroes will be under heavy observation in
the grand hotel ... and yet the idiots try to doublecross the girls and
sell the elixir yet again. But other than the two journalists the
spacegirls have learned from their mistakes and have handed them a
different elixir that makes everyone go crazy (party-mode crazy that is)
... and from here on it's easy for the spacegirls to pick their men ... According
to quite a few sources, Turkey's first foray into the science fiction
genre ... and a rather pedestrian effort at that. Basically this is a very
childish comedy that features next to no good jokes, tired slapstick,
moronic characters and boring dialogue carrying a paperthin plot that's
full of holes and peppered with a few too many dance scenes to at least
remain somehow stringent. Plus, all the props are too clearly homemade
cardboard creations to ... well, to do anything for the film. Rather a
disappointment.
