30 years ago, a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere was the scene of a
gruesome murder where a mother (Julie Carney) killed her whole family
(Timothy J. Cox, Kevin Rife, Christy Carson) - and now young Erica
(Colleen O'Morrow) succeeds to convince her best friends (Ashlee Lawhorn,
Mark Murtha, Paige Hoover) to make the house the scene of their homecoming
party. Of course, the others are hesitant at first - but at their age,
peer pressure is almost everything, and the prospect of a good party miles
away from the grownups is simply irresistible. But you already know that
something bad will happen, right? Ok, this film'splot is not
exactly super-original, but it's a nice, short (20 minutes including
credits) horror showcase that has all the suspence and jump scares in the
right places, uses a very nice and suitably creepy location to set its
strory in, oozes with atmosphere, and the actors fit their roles rather
convincingly - so basically the average horror fan is sure to get a good
time out of it.
