The (maybe not too distand) future, a totalitarian, media-obsessed
state (might be Bush jr's USA, actually): Dr Fish (Mike Horner) of the
Noble Asylum presents a new patient to his colleagues, Malcolm Stevens
(Jon Dough), a man who claims to see in this totalitarian hush-it-up world
- and therefore might be an enemy of the state.
But Stevens' talents are of a different nature, he merely has to touch
a woman to not only know her most secret sexual fantasies but also to
project them back to her - which freaks a gret many women out, even Doctor
Mangrove (Tyffany Million), who eventually had to stop treating him ...
Steven has stylized himself as a media persona, complete with a
sidekick, Kato (Sunset Thomas) - but how much of this is real and how much
is unreal is left at anybody's guess.
Anyway, when Stevens is to be executed publicly, he shows his talent
when he projects some sexual fantasies to the whole audience and with the
help of Kato makes a swift escape ... and later he manags to change places
with Doctor Fish and makes good his escape, Kato at his side ...
Hardcore porn, the Michael Ninn way: the many sex scenes are carried by
an interesting cyberpunk story that self consciously even quotes Fritz
Lang's Metropolis, Ninn's images go far beyond the showing of naked
bodies and come across incredibly stylish, and the whole thing can be seen
as another dirty pic just as well as an anti-utopian piece of science
fiction. Recommended.
