To a sensual mix of old school rhythm and blues, trip hop, soul, nu
jazz and psychedelic rock, Robin Joy treats Ann Ampar to an extended
sensual striptease that eventually leads to the two women lovemaking. Nothing
happens on the fast in the cinematic world of filmmaker Div For'e, and
thus it takes Robin Joy forever to lose all her cloths - and that's
perfectly ok in the context of the film, because the emphasis is not on
her getting naked, not even on her teasing Ann, but on the interaction,
the nonverbal communication between the two women: The longing gazes of
Ann, her anticipation mirrored in her face, her body signaling to
want to throw itself headfirst into sexual abandon is of at least as
much importance as Robin's slow, sensual dance. To put it another way, the
reactions of the spectator becomes as much part of the narration as the
actions of the seductress ... but if all this sounds too lofty for you,
this is still also about two women getting naked and getting it on in
quite some detail. Oh, and the eclectic musical score (a rarity with Div
For'e-movies) is pretty good as well. If this has made you
