The Armadillo in San Francisco is one of these dives you seem to find in every major city around the world: Everyone's drinking beer in there at 4 in the afternoon, everyone feels obliged to smoke, and people from all walks of life come there: Artists because they want to mingle what they believe to be "real people" (and because of the cheap alcohol), students because they want to mingle with what they believe to be artists (and because of the cheap alcohol), and bikers and the working class because of the cheap alcohol.

There's one young woman though who stands out even from the Armadillo' patronage, Heather, a girl who seems to be constantly on the prowl and as cold as ice at the same time, and who seems to have a weird predilection for blood. But even though that girl is rather different from all the others, she seems to always get what she want, like that guy who lets her suck some blood from his vein in the men's room, or that blonde, Monique, who has come with womeone else, but who lets her take her home and lets her seduce her even after finding bloodied plastic sheets in her apartment. Even when Heather starts covering the apartment floor with more plastic sheets as if to prevent it from getting all bloody doesn't Monique show the first signs of suspicion. It's only when Heather bites her breast until it bleeds during foreplay that she can't help but noticing something's wrong - but then it's already way too late, because by now Monique is already under her new friend's spell - and in a long scene of sex, Heather, who's eventually revealed to be a vampire, sucks Monique dry, but also lets her drink from her blood ...

A vampire story done the Div For'e-way: There's hardly any dialogue, the story is told in real time and mostly through gazes, and there's a long lesbian sex scene (though it involves hardly any nudity). Now at a running time of over two hours, that might seem a tad tiring to some, but it is also fascinating to see as an exercise in suspense. Basically, what is going to happen is bloody obvious, after all the film is called Lesbian Vampires, but the buildup to the bloodsucking/lovemaking creates quite a bit of tension, especially because of its rather slow pace, and the extended lovemaking session is of course a very nice pay-off.
