From her "identical twins", soccer mum Alison and science
nerd Cosima, Sarah (all three played by Tatiana Maslany) learns that they
are all clones - and there's someone out there to kill the clones. She
also learns that the $75,000 on Beth's bank account were actually
transferred to her by Alison, who now wants the money back - which might
pose a bit of a problem, not only because Sarah's in no mood to return the
money, but because Sarah/Beth's cop partner Art (Kevin Hanchard) has the
money and refuses to return it before her suspension is lifted. Then the
suspension is lifted, but before Sarah can bolt, she and Art are called to
a crime scene - the very place where Sarah buried her clone Katja last
episode. Of course, now Sarah has to "stay on the force"
a little longer, just to hush things up - but the problem is she's not an
actual cop, and Art notices there's something off with her, but thinks
it's still her PTS from accidently shooting a civilian. Of course, behind
Art's back, Sarah takes a crash course in police work. And eventually, she
and Art find a clue to who might have murdered Katja, and want to track
him down - but whoever it is has no intention of being apprehended and
instead shoots at the both of them, and if it wasn't for Sarah, Art would
have been killed. Sarah then goes after the shootist, and when she catches
up, she finds out she's fighting another clone of herself, if a totally
deranged one. After a fierce fight, the clone escapes though - and Sarah
is unwilling to spill the beans to her partner ... Like the
previous two episodes, this one lives from nice storytelling, which not
only deepens the mystery of the series as such but also presents the
viewer with a story arc of its own. And fleshed out characters and good
dialogues on one hand and plenty of action and excitement on the other
keep the story lively. A good watch to be sure.
