It's Grindah (Allan Mustafa) and Michelle's (Lily Brazier) daughter
Angel's (Olivia Jasmine Edwards) fifth birthday, but as dads often do,
Grindah comes a bit ill-prepared and thus tasks his friend Chabuddy G
(Asim Chaudhry) with throwing a party in the girl's honour as Chabuddy
claims to sell party packages. Thing is, the packages he sells are for
adult parties, so the cake and all candies look like penises, the balloons
are actually condoms, and ultimately Grindah gets stuck in the elevator
with the party clown (Sam Wright), who turns out to be a stripper - while
Angel's actually over the moon about Grindah's present, a microphone just
like daddy has ... In a side plot Roche (Ruth Bratt) forces her husband
Beats (Hugo Chegwin) to go to a job interview at a tie story - which he
not only blows but ultimately runs out of, much to Roche's dismay ... A
story probably most relatable to all dads who ever had to throw a
children's party and were left to their own devices, this episode really
hits it on the head by exaggerating things but keeping them just clear of
becoming moronic, and really centers on the main characters rather than
just throwing out unspecific jokes, making this one great fun for sure.
