Deputy Jones (Cedric Yarbrough) gets suspended after getting into a
fight with his partner Garcia (Carlos Alazraqui) after Garcia cracked a
racist joke (I might have to add here that Jones is black). Garcia is then
teamed up with sexually repressed deputy Weigel (Kerri Kenney), but takes
himself out of commission when losing his gun to a nunchacks-carrying
troublemaker (Andrew Bowen), who promptly uses it to shoot Garcia in the
foot. Jones meanwhile has to spend his time as traffic controller at a
public school, and after having problems adjusting to the job, he starts
to enjoy it (what with all the cheerleaders he is able to give some extra
training and whatnot) and doesn't even go back to his old job ... As
always, there's nothing really subtle or sophisticated about this episode
(even though it's not too blunt either), but offensive humour, a capable
cast and expert comic pacing make this one a good laugh anyways.
