Having drunkien sex at a Halloween party, Shaggy (Chad Alva) loses his
canine friend Scooby, so the next day, he and the gang - Fred (Michael
Vegas) and Daphne (Bree Olson) and of course nerdy Velma (Bobbi Starr) -
return to the house the party was at the very next day to look for clues
that might lead them to Scooby. They don't find any but find themselves on
the run from some demon, and somehow this leads to nerdy and borderline
frigid Velma having sex with first Shaggy then Daphne, and everything
culminates in our four heroes having a foursome ... before the police
arrives to arrest the demon, unmasking him to be the Costumed Bandit
(porn veteran Evan Stone, interestingly not having a single sex scene in
this film). It's only after this mystery is solved that Scooby phones in
informing his friends he has not be dognapped at all but paid a visit to
his cousin Scrappy.
Of all the kiddie cartoon series, Scooby Doo was
always one of the richest concerning sexual subtexts, what with the too
wholesome Fred and Daphne, whose relationship never seems to go
everywhere, with the frigid nerd Velma, and of course with Shaggy, who
talks to his dog lacking adequate human companions. Much of this is picked
up in Scooby Doo: A XXX Parody, and in that respect, dropping the
titular character Scooby Doo from the plot was a good idea, even if it
seems a little odd taken by itself. That all the cast understand their
characters and are in on the joke helps the film along, as well as the
direction, that nicely replicates the look of the series. The problem of
this film is the same as with most porn parodies, it's a porn movie first
and a parody only second, which means the comedy ever so often gives way
to a(n unironic) sex scene, and quite often, the humour is sacrificed for
just another quick fuck. That said, the film still is fun, and the
girls are hot. This is not making the movie a masterpiece, but totally
watchable.
