Desperate to earn enough money to buy a car, Billy (Leigh McCloskey)
steals a force field generator - a groundbreaking new invention by his
science teacher Andrea Thomas (JoAnna Cameron) - from the school's science
lab and tries to sell it to bigshot gangster Evans (Philip Bruns) ... but
for some reason, Evans wants not only the generator, he also wants to make
Billy part of his gang. Billy, who only wants enough money to buy a car,
has reservations, but it seems it's already too late and he has been
sucked into Evans' mob ... but fortunately, his science teacher is not
only sympathetic to her students' problems in general and to his in
particular, she's also secretly superheroine Isis, and without too much of
a problem, she catches Evans and his right-hand man (Wayne Storm) in a
cage of trees she magically grows out of the ground and makes Billy see
the error of his ways ... Pretty Childish and slightly campy,
like all episodes of Secrets of Isis, this is one of the
funnier entries into the series, mainly because of its utterly silly
finale - on how many TV-shows are the baddies caught in a cage of freshly
grown trees? - and a rather amusing performance by Wayne Storm as the
villain's sidekick.
