Deep in the jungles of wherever, there's a jungle girl, Shandra (Lisa
Throw), who seduces men, has sex with them, and by doing so extracts all
their life power and kills them. She's a threat to men (not women)
alright, but she's not evil, she just does what she does to survive.
Eventually, Travis (David Christensen), a businessman with a stake in
medicine, has Shandra captured by tough-as-nails big game hunter Karen
(Lisa Comshaw), and then studied by docs Ellen (Mia Zottoli) and Cord
(Drake Tatum) - who both fall in love with her and have sex with her
(which even Cord survives), and also find out she has ancient memories.
Oh, and Karen also has sex with her ... and somehow Shandra manages to
escape thanks to that. And it was quite high time too, as Travis has long
planned to sell Shandra to evil Ian (Burke Morgan), who plans to
immediately dissect her to find out about her powers to build
superweapons. Ian forces Karen at gunpoint to track down Shandra ... and
they find her at Ellen and Cord's place. As Ian prepares for surgery,
Ellen, Cord and Karen all try their best to save Shandra, but without
success, until she gets her hands on him, seduces him and ... well, in the
end, Cord and Ellen go into the jungle with Shandra for a nice ménage à
trois. Shandra: The Jungle Girl is most certainly no
masterpiece - as my synopsis already suggests it's little more than a
little sex flick (though the nudity never goes past topless) that doesn't
try to be more than it actually is - and at least there are some lovely
ladies involved in this, so voyeurs and softcore enthusiasts will
certainly find something to like about this one. The trash movie fanatic
will probably at least appreciate the pulpy narrative and the dinosaur
scenes (stop motion animation, almost certainly from another movie), and
anyone with enough mates and enough beer on hand will find this an ok
party movie ... but at the same time, narratively the movie is rather
flat, and too many opportunities to add irony are just missed, plus the
performers, their looks not withstanding, are not uniformly first rate -
so in a word, definitely no trainwreck, but also far from great ...
