Bull Kendall (Buddy Baer) travels the jungle with his wife (Roxanne
Reed) and his bullwhip - because you know, Bull is a villain who plans to
steal a priceless treasure from a native tribe. He tries to persuade guide
Bob Rayburn (Chris Drake) to take him to the tribe, but when Rayburn
refuses, he uses force. Eventually though, he teams up with a gang of
native crooks, and they plan on taking the tribe's chieftain captive in
order to make him tell them the location of the treasure. This is when
even Bull's wife turns against him and tries to make Bull and his men
release the chieftain at gunpoint - but the woman is easily overcome. Enter
jungle girl Sheena (Irish McCalla), who has crossed Bull's path before and
who knows what Bull is made of - so she tricks him into losing his
bullwhip, then uses it against him, driving him into a river full of
crocodiles ... Your typical 1950's jungle adventure, in which
massive stock footage suggests African locations while the sets the cast
acts on are less than exotic, while the sexual undertones of the story are
considerably toned down. And neither Buddy Baer nor Irish McCalla look
particularly convincing when handling a bullwhip. Still, good if harmless
fun in a nostalgic sort of way.
