Adam (Pierre Brice) and Shem (Gareth Thomas) are afraid they might be
sent back to female-run planet Medusa in exchange for two earth
scientists, so Adam comes up with a novel approach to the problem: To live
with his former mistress Fulvia (Judy Geeson), who has come after him,
like a normal earth couple, where man and woman are equal in a
relationship. Interestingly enough, this goes quite well for a while, with
Fulvia going to work everyday and Adam doing the house - but eventually
she is overcome with jealousy because he invites the neighbourhood
housewives over every day. The situation is further complicated by two
klutzy feminists (Dorothea Kaiser, Marianne Nebel) who have stolen
Fulvia's stunguns and want to make her their leader, and an army colonel
(Ronald Fraser) who really has no clue. In the end, everything ends
happily and the feminists are apprehended ... but Adam and Shem find
themselves on the run again. Certainly not a piece of political
correctness, this episode is fun to watch for both its weird concept
of the state of earth feminism, and its (intentionally funny)
representation of the life of a normal couple on earth. Of course, all of
this doesn't make a masterpiece ... but it's very entertaining
nevertheless.
