Nick (Harley Wallen), owner of the stripclub Tails, is brought in for
questioning over the disappearance of one of his girls, Amber, after data
from her retrieved cellphone shows that she (or at least her phone) has
been stationary at the club for hours on end (where nobody has seen her),
then driven away - and on the way the phone had been dumped in a trash
can. Nick of course feigns ignorance, which sends Amber's sister,
not-really-on-the-case-detective Alison (Kaiti Wallen) fuming - and
eventually leads her to rekindle an in-department affair she's almost
doomed to regret. Nick however is released from custody soon thanks to his
lawyer Fisk (Jerry Hayes) - but not too soon, as new trouble is already
brewing in form of a biker gang who want to make Tails their clubhouse,
and if Nick refuses to sell, they have other means, too ... Running
for a mere 20 minutes, it's pretty much amazing how much story can be
packed into so short a time, with even opening some new narrative threads,
but without ever letting tension drop for a moment. And it's not only he
cool cliffhanger at the end that will leave you craving for more.
