Nick (Harley Wallen) has only just come out of a stand-off with Gemini
(Jimmie Chiappelli) and his gang of bikers who want to take over his
stripclub unscathed when he learns the cops looking for one of his girls
gone missing come much closer to the truth than they ought to - so he
muses about selling the club after all ... Meanwhile, Alison (Kaiti
Wallen), a police officer on the case of the missing stripper but also her
sister, starts to have a meltdown, not so much for the fact that her
sister is missing but because it might have been due to what she has
suspected and feared all along, that she has just o.d.-ed after all, no
bigger mystery behind it ... A really clever episode inasmuch
as while it's framed by a couple of stand-offs between Nick and company
and Gemini's bikers, it's really more of a comprised character piece about
officer Alison who more and more loses her shit over the investigation she
forced herself onto - and it's a really cool acting showcase for Kaiti
Wallen for sure, plus its nice how this subplot ties into the framing
story on both ends to make this one hell of an episode.
