Working for an import company seems to be the perfect opportunity for Ken
(Nicholas Ball) & Lilian (Glynis Barber) to do a little drugsmuggling on
the side ... but they are not only partners in crime but also in bed - with one
little problem: Ken is married to Annie (Lois Baxter), & despite all his
little promises to Lilian, it doesn'T seem likely that he gets a divorce any
time soon ... so eventually, Lilian finds another man & breaks up with him.
They get into an argument over this, & in a fit of rage, Ken accidetnly
kills Lilian ... & buries her body somewhere in the woods (not that
accidently anymore). A few days later, his car is stolen, which he reports to
the police ... they do find it, unscathed, but everything points to Lilian
having stolen it (!) ... Ken starts to break up, & he confesses the affair
to his wife (but not that he killed Lilian). But then Lilian starts to call him
at home ... Eventually, Ken rushes back to Lilian's grave in the woods to see
if she's still there (she is), but then he finds himself surrounded by the
police, who have used Lilian'S twin sister (also Glynis Barber) - a police
officer herself - to lure their prime suspect in the disappearance of Lilian
out into the open ... Even if the story is a bit far-fetched, &
has been done before (& better so), this is a fun little episode of Tales
of the Unexpected.
