Charlie (Don Summerfield) has long been fed up with his wife Sandy
(Cyndee Summers) and has been having an affair with her best friend Marie
(Sharon Kelly) for years now. Actually, he wants to divorce Sandy badly,
but lacks a good enough reason. Enter Charlie's stepbrother Dennis (Ron
Presson), a young college dropout who comes to stay with them for a couple
of days. Charlie sees Sandy's attracted to him and soon suspects they shag
behind his back - and he's absolutely correct, too. And that's great he
figures, because all he has to do now is hire a private detective (Elmer
Klump) to photograph them having sex and he has plenty reason for divorce. Foolproof
plan, right? With maybe no more than one tiny glitch: Despite shagging
Sandy, Dennis is a very righteous person, and he sees it his duty to fix
his brother's marriage, so he goes over to Marie to try to persuade her to
give up Charlie ... and Marie seduces him on the spot. The private eye of
course is on Dennis's trail and now photographs him shagging her and not
Sandy - and he doesn't even have a clue he photographs him with the wrong
woman ... Ultimately it's a happy ending for everyone but for Charlie:
Not only has he proof that his mistress cheats on him, his wife has also
left him to go to Florida with his stepbrother ... The plot of
this film sounds pretty funny in a mean-spirited sort of way, the film
though is a typical early-to-mid 1970's sex movie that stays just this
side of hardcore (some sex scenes are obviously simulated, but I'm not too
sure about others) in which rather hot women get it on with at best
average-looking men. It's really nothing special, not even a good film,
but if you're into vintage erotica of this kind (I am for one), you'll
probably get a kick out of it anyways ... Oh, by the way, the title Teenage
Bride has extremely little to do with the film, none of the characters
in the movie are characterized as teen-aged, none of the story has
anything to do with teenagers.
