International Rescue's London agend Lady Penelope is approached by
shady businessman Grafton, who wants to have her invest into his fully
automatic monorail, but she immediately has her suspicions about him and
calls in International Rescue's head Jeff Tracy to investigate the man,
acting as a rich businessman interested in Grafton's monorail. When
Grafton gives Tracy a little demonstration of his monorail however, a
helicopter crashes in the rail, destroying it, with Grafton, Tracy and
company approaching by train in rapid speed - and since the thing is fully
automatic, there is no way to stop it from the inside ... but luckily,
Tracy has brought International Rescue's resident genius Brains, who
figures out a way to stop the train just in time. Then (as in all episodes
of Thunderbirds), the Thunderbirds, legendary flying
machines of International Rescue, come to the rescue. Meanwhile,
Grafton's driver Milloy tries to rob Lady Penelope's place, acting under
his boss's orders, but even though the alarms are switched off, Lady
Penelope and her butler Parker are alarmed just in time, chasing the
baddies with amchine guns before locking them into her car and letting it
drive them in circles for the whole night. In the end, both Grafton and
his driver land in jail. Seeing this episode from a
storytelling angle, it's full of plotholes and leaps of reason - but lots
of action, effects and great miniature work should make up for at least
most of the story's shortcomings.
