A reckless woman-driver causes an accident that causes a
super-skyscraper to catch fire and eventually collaps. The security
standards of this building are so high though, that everyone can be
evacuated on time - everybody but a small family that's caught right in
the worst of it - time of course to call International Rescue, who use a
giant drilling machine to get near the family in peril, then cut through
steel with their super burners, even if the gas of the burners is known to
cause fainting ... not a good idea since pretty much everything is going
to cave in on the rescuers and the family. Still, in the end, everything
turns out just swell ... Plotwise, this episode might be
disappointing: It's pretty much a scaled down disaster movie (scaled down
in terms of characters that is), and human drama is just something Thunderbirds'
puppets are not very good at. That said though, the episode does also
feature some of the finest effects of the entire series, so you just might
want to watch this one anyhow.
