Villain the Hood has developed a new fighter plane - but unfortunately,
the US-Air Force is in the process of developing the Red Hawk, a fighter
plane that flies even faster than the Hood's plane. So the Hood has all
test flights of the Red Hawk sabotaged, usually with desastrous results -
so much so that the whole affair draws the attention of International
Rescue, especially since Tim Casey, developer of teh Red Arrow, is a good
friend of Jeff Tracy, head of International Rescue. Problem is, Casey
comes for a visit on exactly the day of another test flight that is sure
to be sabotaged, and Jeff Tracy and his sons now have to intervene without
Casey noticing it - after all, International Rescue is a secret
organisation (for whatever reason). Soon enough, Tracy gets Casey out of
the way by sending him on a diving trip with his assistant Tin-Tin (not a
dog), but still the plane crashes, and not only that, it even crashes into
a teleray tower, with its two employees now caught on top, awaiting sure
death every minute now ... if it wasn't for the boys from International
Rescue, who get the two men out of their predicament using backpack
rockets. After this is achieved, the boys from International Rescue also
find a homing device that was actually responsible for the plane crashing
into the tower, and once this is found, they have no problems tracking
down the Hood's saboteur, who making an escape from the police runs down
some cliffs to his death ... As usual, the ffects are great, as
usual the story is a bit childish, as usual, human drama just doesn't work
with the puppets. Still, an ok episode compared to others.
