A UFO has landed on the lunar surface undetected, and the alien on
board (Gito Santana) has taken a stroll to the moonbase, shot a hole into
one of the windows ... and this way killed one of the crewmembers (Robert
Swann) ... much to the dismay of the base's commander Paul Foster (Michael
Billington), who leads an expedition himself to find and punish the alien.
But before Foster knows it, he is cut off from his men, his oxygen supply
malfunctions, and he comes face to face with the alien ... who is in an
equally dire situation. Soon Foster and the alien have to realize that in
order to survive they have to work together and trust one another - and
eventually, they become almost friends (even if they're unable to talk to
one another). Then though, an expedition on the lookout for Foster
stumbles upon the unlikely couple, and because Foster's communicator has
an malfunction, they shoot the alien ... Hammer
semi-regular Suzan Farmer plays Foster's girlfriend.
One of the
lesser episodes of UFO, basically because it tells an overly
familiar and cheesy basic plot in a very unimaginative way. Aside from
that though, the whole thing features some more wonderful miniature
effects one has to come to know and love from the series.
