Sisters Christine (Ann Michelle) & Betty (Vicki Michelle) come to London
to become models, & Christine seems to be in luck right away, getting a
modelling job for prolific (lesbian) agent Sybil Waite (Patricia Haines)
somewhere out in the country, & Christine doesn't care one bit either that
she has to pose nude. However, she takes her sister with her to the country,
& Betty, having nothing to do while Christine is posing nude, wanders the
mansion they are staying at, finds many disquieting aspects of that house (like
a witches' chapel or a torture dungeon), & eventually is scared witless
& eventually faints. When she wakes up, she finds herself in care of doctor
Amberly (Neil Hallett), a kind gentleman who blames everything to her age &
her still being a virgin. Her sister Christine though, when she hears the
story, comes to a rather different conclusion, that the mansion is the home to
a withces' coven, headed by Amberly, & soon enough it is revealed that
Amberly, Sybil Waite & Christine's photographer Peter (James Chase) are
indeed all members of a witches' coven, but far from being shocked, Christine
asks if she can be initiated ... to which Amberly happily agrees (not at least
because he - as high priest - gets to fuck her during the initiation). Once
initiated, Amberly & Sybil want to make her persuade Betty to be initiated
too, but Christine is not the naive girl everyone thought her to be, but has
mystic powers far greater than those of even the coven's high priestess Sybil,
on whose position Christine soon lays claims. However, Betty's initiation rites
are prepared for the same night, when her boyfriend John (Keith Buckley) shows
up, whom Christine cleverly incorporates into her plan to break Sybil's power
for good ... With the ritual starting, Christine gives Sybil such pain that
she is no longer able to perform, & she takes her place, & somehow she
replaces High Priest Amberly with John to perform Betty's defloration ... but
of course John, a good boy, doesn't think of taking advantage of the situation
& only pretends to fuck Betty, so the whole ritual, which was brought into
being by Sybil in the first place, misses its most vital part, & thus
breaking Sybil's power over the coven for good ... & as if that wasn't
enough, Christine uses some weird hoodoo to kill Sybil, just to make sure ...
From here on, the coven members know whom to follow. An enjoyable
piece of early 70's horror erotica, full of glaring colours & 70's fashion,
with multiple occasions of all the female castmembers to shed their clothes, a
stupid litle story that essentially leads nowhere & has plotholes aplenty,
& a very unique interpretation of witchcraft. You just have to love a
movie like that.
