After having escaped Bigfoot (Joe Fishel) no less than 6 times while
working on the same construction site, one would think the site's
secretary (Valena Zitello) would see this as an incentive to quit her job
- but not so, as yet once more she's found by the police more dead than
alive, having barely survived yet another Bigfoot attack ... Originally
intended not as a standalone short but a film-within-a-film in the feature
film The Haunting of Prince Dom Pedro - still in production as of
this writing -, Bigfoot Unleashed, Part VII is consequently rather
skeletal in plot, but that said, it asks the exact question that plagues
almost all monster and slasher movie sequels, which is basically
"will they ever learn?", and this short does so in a fairly
amusing but also pretty genre savvy way. And while not exactly the
re-invention of the wheel (which was never intended to be), it sure is
pretty funny genre entertainment.
