Upon the advice of his butler (Reginald Denny), Red Skelton picks up a
hobby - that just happens to be building his own trailer. And somehow Red
has caught the eye of loud-mouthed trailerpark owner Sadie Murphy (Mary
McCarthy), who doesn't attract him at all with her unwashed, uncombed hair
and worn-out cloths ... until she dresses up and shows that she can be
quite a lady. At around the same time, a bear is roaming the premises and
... the end.
The story of this show isn't really thought through and ultimately
leads nowhere, and Skelton's talent for slapstick is rather limited, while
he ruins most of his oneliners by laughing even before he's telling them.
But at least buest star Mary McCarthy gives a hearty performance.
