With her colleague Yasia (Anders Nyborg), Mila (Katja Kean) makes a bet that she will be able to get an interview with the publicity-shy gouvernor of the Pink Prison.

Since women are not allowed inside the Pink Prison, a prison for men, Mila has to break into the prison. Climbing through the ventilation shafts, Mila witnesses some gay sex, and gets rather turned on by it. Eventually, Mila leaves the ventilation shaft and enters the actual prison. Donning various disguises and going through various rooms (the infirmary, the kitchen, the hallway, the shower room), she hopes to get to the gouvernor, but in every disguise she's wearing, in every room she's in, she gets fucked, either by guards or inmates ... and the good girl doesn't seem to mind it the least bit.

Finally, she reaches the gouvernor, who turns out to be a woman (Evil Eve), who immediately ties her to a bed spread eagled, later fucks her with a strap on, then has a prisoner fuck her to ecstasy, and then ... the gouvernor gives Mila her interview, and Mila has won her bet - but it's never quite clear if any of the sexual situations were real or just products of Mila's horny fantasy ...

Filmed in the prison sets of Dancer in the Dark, Pink Prison is one of the hardcore porn films produced by Puzzy Power, the adult sub-label of Lars Von Trier's Zentropa production company.

Does that mean Pink Prison is art, or what people refer to as thinking man's porn ?

Nope, it's still just porn, as a rose is a rose by any name. Inside the porn realm though, Pink Prison is one of the better contemporary films, it does feature some production values, a stylish, even glossy direction and it at least makes an attempt at telling a coherent story ... on the other hand though, porn afficionados might find the film a tad too clinically clean and too artificial ...
