As ever so often, Satan (Robert Tarantino) has set out to rule the
world in God's (Mike Lomoz) stead - and this time he has a fool-proof
plan, too. You see, he has recently learned about the second coming of
Jesus (Dominik Hauser), and as fate has it, three beautiful yet tough
chicks, Cherry (Victoria Fraunberger), Bobbie (Conny Boes) and Pepper
(Maria Mucha) have been sent to hell by serialkiller Robert (Dominic
Marcus Singer). And thus, he makes a deal with the girls, whichever of
them who can make Jesus fall in love with her and this way derail his
mission can stay on earth forever. He even sweetens the deal for the
girls, handing Robert over to them for them to punish him as they please -
and it's not pretty. There's a slight problem with Satan's plan though:
The incarnation of Jesus God has sent to earth might be horny as heck, but
so much so that he's not likely to fall in love with any one person ... Ok,
this synopsis might make Satan's Girl sound as silly as it actually
is - but it's also a pretty hilarious movie, a mix of girl action, fantasy
and horror flick, made in the style of yesteryear's grindhouse fare -
including quite a few direct references - but peppered with plenty of
(self-)irony and intentionally silly dialogue. And while the performanced
don't always come across as flawless, it's quite obvious that the cast
enjoyed themselves making this, and their fun is rather infectious, making
this a fun genre piece for sure.
