The various tests a woman (Tamar Pelzig) has to go through during her
life, from her first menstruation to being a young mother, from trying to
apply a condom to the first positive pregnancy test, from band practice to
an audition in hell, from falling in love to losing one's loved one (Mason
Heidger) ... ... and frankly, the basic story of this movie is
just as mundane as my synopsis sounds - but then again, you can't always
judge a film merely by its story, as what writer/director Bill Sorice has
made out of it is quite remarkable, a somewhat abstract, at times surreal
walk through a woman's life, that despite keeping things in the
intentionally vague still shows a lot of heart. And the result is an
actually rather impressive short.
