Pilgrim Peregrinus (Patrick Barr) wanders Sherwood Forest and does his
best to fall into the hands of Robin Hood (Richard Greene) and his
outlaws. Once in their captivity, he observes a demonstration of the
outlaws' fine archery, then witnesses them turn down an offer by the
Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Wheatley) to pardon all of them if they fight
by his side once King Richard returns. The outlaws even go one step
further and intercept a bunch of Prince John's knights who carry a list of
outlaws that might be loyal to Prince John. Peregrinus the pilgrim is
impressed by the outlaw's loyalty to their king - and in the end turns out
to be King Richard himself. Boring episode that lacks any kind
of tension and suspense - and it isn't well-told, either.
