Heels Beals (William 'Billy' Benedict) and his sidekick Hefty (Karl
'Killer' Davis) work at Mrs Varnish's (Isabel Randolph) furniture shop,
mainly to check out the houses of Mrs Varnish's rich clients to rob them
later on. Neither Heels nor Hefty are too clever though, so they
eventually give away their modus operandi to Mrs Varnish, just before cop
dick Tracy arrives to pick up some furniture - and though the two
criminals threaten Mrs Varnish at gunpoint during the whole conversation
with the cop, she somehow manages to slip him a message about the two of
them ... and naturally, after a shoot-out Dick and his partner Sam (Joe
Devlin) manage to apprehend Heels and Hefty. The story of this
episode might not be too great, but the supporting cast is pretty good,
making the most out of the plot and highlighting its comic elements.
